Macario Liuca Mendoza, Director of our partner organization Voluntarios en Accion (VEA) in Bolivia has passed away on the shores of Lake Titikaka last October 16th. In the picture, Macario Liuca receiving a traditional 'poncho' at Cariquina Grande, Camacho County in the Province of La Paz for his tremendous contribution to the betterment of Aymara children on the Bolivian high plateau (Altiplano).
