Christmas at FF

Our December 15, 2011 Christmas party was acclaimed as best-ever, with New Frontiers Aboriginal Residential Corporation (NFARC), Frontiers Foundation and Project Amik Residents Committee (PARC) all pitching in for the food and fun. Le Petit Chaperon Rouge’s beautiful decorations included a striking winter scene mural.

Project Amik residents and FF staff cooked and served a memorable turkey dinner including salad donated by Toronto Community Living (TCL), for sixty guests. PARC President Mike McTague, our MC, kept us entertained with nonstop Christmas humor. Santa (Steve Biagioni) passed out gifts for everyone of our resident children with the help of star elf Sherry Bardy, who had partnered with Patsy Cuffy to procure them. Charles and Barbara Catto played piano for Christmas carols.

Among the distinguished guests were Ed Star (SHS Consulting), Rick Fratiani (RBC), Tessa Sill & Bonnie Johnston (TDSB) and old friend Kaela Mulenga, who brought Christmas greetings from Zambia.

P.S. If you haven’t donated to Frontiers Foundation in 2011 yet, there are still several days left to help fill our stocking!
